How it works: Planet42 is a company on its own and not a bank. Planet42 helps people with bad credit, blacklisted, under debt review. Planet42 can still decline you, but Planet42 is not as strict as a normal bank application.

Planet42 buys the vehicle that you choose from us, and you rent the vehicle from them. Payment will be for 60 months, thereafter, you can buy the vehicle back from  Planet42 for R5000, or do a trade-in.

To qualify: You must be a SA ID holder, must have a valid SA driver’s license, salary must be over R13,000.

The instalment includes the following, it is not optional: 1 Year motor Warranty, Top-up Warranty included, Road-Side assistance, Comprehensive Insurance and Tracker. No extra costs added.

We will need the following to check for pre-approval: ID number, full names, surname, cell phone number and netto salary that you take home every month. Then we can see the deposit and + – instalment.

They can pre-approve you with a deposit of R999, R3999 or R8999. You can increase the deposit if you want a more expensive vehicle, or to minimize the monthly instalment. Deposit must be paid before we can arrange Tracker for pre-fitment.

We will need the following for validations after pre-approval was done, to see the definite monthly instalment: Clear scanned copy of your ID and driver’s license front and back, 3 months bank statements, 3 months payslips & proof of address.
